This engaging and reflective presentation is designed for women who want to create greater meaning, fulfillment, and purpose in their work and lives. Participants will explore the key components of meaningful work—including purpose, belonging, strengths, growth, contribution, and alignment with personal values—and examine how these elements influence career satisfaction and overall well-being. Using the Values Bridge framework inspired by Suzy Welch's Becoming You, attendees will identify their core values and learn how those values serve as a guide for evaluating career opportunities, navigating life transitions, making confident decisions, and overcoming professional challenges.

The Values Bridge is a practical decision-making tool. Participants will learn how to use the Values Bridge to evaluate career opportunities, navigate transitions, overcome challenges, and ensure their choices align with what matters most.
Purpose is created through alignment. When your work reflects your values, strengths, and desire to contribute, you are more likely to experience motivation, resilience, well-being, and long-term career satisfaction.
Speaker Biography:
Kelly Kennedy, Ed.D. currently serves as the Director of Transformative Learning and career education faculty for undergraduate students at the University of Connecticut School of Business and has been at the University since 2008. It is here that she assisted over 8,500 students in landing their first jobs and internships since designing the career curriculum in 2008. her focus is to create immersion programming industry by partnering with organizations for students to develop a professional skillset that is most relevant to their future careers. Kelly is dedicated to recognizing the unique career and developmental needs of students by tailoring career curricula to align with corporate hiring requirements, enhancing job marketability, and supporting talented business students in finding meaningful work. Dr. Kennedy has a consulting business called Within Reach Consulting Group, assisting recent graduates (Gen Z) in finding meaning at work and working with companies to ensure that recent graduates are finding meaning in their current roles.
